Food Poisoning
Food poisoning or also known as foodborne illness is a digestive tract infection or irritation caused by food or drinks. The illnesses are caused by viruses, bacteria, parasites and harmful chemicals.
When food poisoning occurs suddenly and within a short duration, then it is known as acute food poisoning and most people who contract it get better without any treatment in less than a week. In most cases when food poisoning lasts longer and causes serious complications, then it is known as chronic food poisoning.
Roughly in a year, around 48 million United States citizens experience food poisoning and lead to about 3,000 mortality,
